Can be found dashing around Bristol photographing gigs, or listening to LCD Soundsystem. There’s no in between.
FEET made their return to Bristol bringing their quintessentially British post-punk tinged indie rock to the Exchange
After an extended opening of the gig due to a misplaced tambourine, frontman George Haverson emerges from the crowd, instantly plunging into ‘Changing My Mind Again’. Playing the hits from their first and second albums, they had everybody moving instantly. The set was punctuated by a couple of new songs, with Haverson teasing the crowd with the possibility of a new album “coming out this year or maybe next year? It’s a mystery!”
One member of the crowd even took the opportunity to crowd surf during ‘Petty Thieving’, reaching their hand out towards the stage and being met by Haverson’s tambourine reaching back, creating a moment that felt slightly reminiscent of Michelangelo’s painting ‘The Creation of Adam’. The band’s liveliness, feeding off the crowd’s enthusiasm, made them an utter joy to watch.
