FootFest is coming to The Cornish Bank and YOU are invited!
When we first started CLUNK, as you see it today, roughly 8 years ago, our dream was to have a large enough audience to share our love of music with, to have a physical print zine, and run events in Cornwall. Specifically the kind of events that bring artists down to Cornwall who would normally stop at the border in Exeter. It is a pretty surreal thing to say that we have done all of these things, even to the point where we made our own events company (CLUNK Events). After a steady stream of artists such as Saloon Dion (RIP), The Orielles, Langkamer, Getdown Services, Murman, & more to gracing stages (mostly The Cornish Bank), a day fest or showcase had been on our minds…
Well, we are now VERY happy to say that after a conversation with our pals at FEET after their near sold-out show in November, we can present to you FootFest. Brought to you in partnership with FEET a day fest that will see the cream of the indie music scene make their way to sunny ol Cornwall for a knees up. So far, we’ve announced FEET, Courting, and Flat Party, with a few more to be announced ASAP.
Speaking on the event Director of CLUNK Kieran Webber said: “In the past 8 years we have worked tirelessly to put Cornwall on the map. It has always been our firm belief that Cornwall is deserving of a live music scene. There are more than enough people here that want it and now with venues like The Cornish Bank, we have a place to host them, properly. Through CLUNK Magazine, we cover the very best in new music across the globe and with CLUNK Events, we bring them to Cornwall. So, to be able to have a day festival where we can showcase some of the most exciting talent that the UK has to offer, in Cornwall, is nothing short of a dream and an honour. Thank you to everyone that has helped us get here and thank you to FEET for choosing us as a partner on this brilliant and exciting event.”
Tickets go on sale Friday 28th February at 10am with tickets available exclusively through The Cornish Bank.
