Big Mountain County make their way down to Cornwall for their debut performance in the county
January is a tough month for us all in the U.K. The weather is miserable, our pockets a lighter than usual, and 2025 also has its own wave of shit to deal with (see Donald Trump and Elon Musk as examples). However, there are people out there (such as CLUNK Events) who want to bring a brightness into this bleary, poor weather ridden month. Which is why we are bringing the psychedelic outfit Big Mountain County ALLLLL the way from Italy to put some colour into this grey month.
We first caught Big Mountain County at SXSW 2023 where they played to a jam packed venue for the Italian Music Showcase, it was truly a sublime experience. Outside was a roaring storm (and a tornado warning), whilst the weather battered the Texan city if Austin, inside a bar/venue was the same intensity in sonic form. A true wave of psychedelic that was pulsing and intense.
Now, fast forward a few years and since that night the band have opened for bands such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre. You get to see this in the intimate space of The Cornish Bank, Falmouth on Saturday 25th January.
