Khruangbin lead a stacked bill of mellow alternative rock talent including Palace, NoSo & TV On The Radio

West Londonโ€™s Gunnersbury Park has cemented itself as one of the capitalโ€™s favourite outdoor venues. This August, it will host a series of day shows offering an eclectic mix of music genres, including previously announced performances from The Smashing Pumpkins, The Libertines, PAWSA and Martin Garrix.

This Friday night, Londoners will pack out Gunnersbury Park for an evening of festivities, led by a stacked bill of mellow alternative rock talent.

Palace:
One of the most emotive alternative rock bands in the business, Palace are a personal favourite. Fresh off the back of their sold-out 2024 UK and European tours, they kicked off 2025 with a brand-new EP, ‘Greyhound’.

The childhood friends released their acclaimed debut EP, Lost In The Night’, in 2014, followed by Chase The Light’ the year after. With four albums now under their belt, theyโ€™ve built a loyal global fanbase.

Three tracks worth checking out ahead of the show are โ€˜Live Wellโ€™, โ€˜Gravityโ€™ and โ€˜Greyhoundโ€™.

NoSo:

NoSo is the project of Baek Hwong, an LA-based artist whose emotionally resonant music blends shimmering pop textures with indie rock, funk and experimental elements.

Known for sharp, honest lyricism, intricate guitar work and lush production, NoSo crafts songs full of wit, nuance and unforgettable hooks.

Three tracks worth checking out ahead of the show are โ€˜Who Made You This Sweet?โ€™, โ€˜Suburbiaโ€™ and โ€˜Honey Understandโ€™.

TV On The Radio:

TV On The Radio have proven themselves to be one of the most influential bands of the past two decades, consistently confounding expectations while earning respect from critics and peers alike.

The alternative rock band blend unique soundscapes with catchy hooks, and their constant creative curiosity pushes those sounds to the limit.

Three tracks worth checking out ahead of the show are โ€˜Wolf Like Meโ€™, โ€˜Staring At The Sunโ€™ and my personal favourite, โ€˜Young Liarsโ€™.

Khruangbin:
People often refer to Khruangbinโ€™s music as background music, something you might hear in your local coffee shop or independent store. But their dreamy, infectious rock deserves to be front and centre.

From the start, Khruangbinโ€™s journey has been emphatically their own: a sound and visual identity with few precedents, shunning pop expectations in favour of internal inspirations and a multitude of visions.Three tracks worth checking out ahead of the show are โ€˜Texas Sunโ€™, โ€˜White Glovesโ€™ and the groovy โ€˜Time (You And I)โ€™.

We’ll see you at Gunnersbury Park in the sun, drink in hand and soaking in the mellow rays.
