Pop-punk artist Lauran Hibberd returns with news of her second album, ‘Girlfriend Material‘, the follow up to 2022’s ‘Garageband Superstar

Lauran Hibberd, the Isle of Wight-born pop-punk triumph, is back with her second album ‘Girlfriend Material‘. Well, not quite. The LP is set to release March 22nd 2024 via Virgin Music. After a smash hit with her first album ‘Garageband Superstar‘, featuring the likes of DJ Lethal and Wheatus, the stage is set for this comeback to be just as big.ย

The lead single ‘Mary‘, out now, is a rip roaring 2 minutes and 56 seconds. It follows a girl who goes on a double date with a sharply dressed boy who looks like every other boy sheโ€™d fallen for so far,ย  and ends up ditching him for the girl next door. The sound of ‘Mary‘ is ripped straight out of an early 2000โ€™s teen comedy in the best way. The melodies are irresistible, and the tempo gets you out of your seat.ย

Stay tuned for the rest of the record, and to see Lauran live, as she is embarking on tour in the new year.
