Falmouth psych-rock band Mothman, The Man have announced their latest album ‘Where’s Your Head?’
Releasing via Krautpop Records, the album will be available on the 19th of April 2024.ย While that might seem like a long time to wait, have no fear, for their lead single ‘Gigantopithecus‘ is out now! The track is thrashing and fuzzy and loud, and Gadsbyโs synths alongside Mattock’s drums are all encompassing.
Throughout, we follow the hunt of, and eventual encounter with a beast. All in all, the track is epic. It’s the type of sound that might accompany a mythical battle, or perhaps what one might hear when entering the gates of valhalla.ย
It’s a great hint of what is to come from the rest of the album. The psych-garage rockers are sure to hit big. Described as an eclectic outfit that takes influence from a wide source of musical material, Mothman, The Man is experimental while drawing from all parts of history and mythology.
I personally canโt wait to hear more from this new project both live and in stereo. But I will be waiting โ on tenterhooks too!ย ย
