There’s a lot of things we love about Leopallooza. The festival site just a few miles from the sea is nature’s own Cornish eye candy, plus we can Celine Deon to our heart’s desire in the Shi Shi Za Karaoke Bar or head over to the Hong Kong Ping Pong Club for a no-frills rave. Even better, the eco ethos of the whole event guarantees a weekend of good vibes.

Our true soft spot for this festival, though, is down to BBC Music Introducing. A weekend’s worth of sounds from this lovely corner of the country? Yes please. Leopallooza‘s line-up just got an upgrade, and it includes a whole field-full of bands from the South West.

Falmouth noise merchants Mildred Maude will be headlining the festival’s Introducing stage on Friday night, unleashing an “uninterrupted one-song-melodic-noise-jam” on The Wyldes – yay – while firm indie faves The Rezner will be doing the honours on Saturday. And that’s just for starters. Check out all the new music BBC Introducing Devon and Cornwall have lined up for Leopallooza right here:

On a line-up already giving us serious festival-fever with the likes of Feeder, Heavy Lungs and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, these new additions have just taken our Leopallooza love to the next level.

Leopallooza 2019 is happening 26th-28th July. Get yer tickets quick:
