My name is Uchechi, and I am a 21 year old law student from the north of Scotland. Outside of my studies, I am a avid concert goer and music enthusiast. Photography has also been my passion for as long as I can remember, so getting to combine my two passions through concert photography has been great. When I’m not with my camera or typing with my keyboard, I am enjoying nature with my friends.
Alongside the announcement of their third album, New York indie group BODEGA drop new single ‘Tarkovski’
BODEGA, led by the dynamic Ben Hozie, brings a breath of fresh air to the indie music scene, partly due to Hozie’s background growing up with very few indie alternative influences in South Carolina. ‘Tarkovski‘ experiments with a funky and novel sound, showcasing the band’s ability to explore sonically.
The highlight of the track is undoubtedly the mesmerizing guitar solo in the middle, adding a layer of intensity to the overall composition. As the first glimpse into their upcoming album, ‘Tarkovski‘ teases the listener with the promise of an ambitious and playfully dynamic record.
BODEGA’s forthcoming album appears to be an emotionally driven project, and ‘Tarkovski‘ serves as an excellent appetizer, leaving their listeners eager for the full feast. The band’s ability to blend diverse styles while keeping their songs catchy makes this single a compelling precursor to what is sure to be an interesting listen.
