L.A based alt-pop artist myah drops heartfelt and relatable new single ‘Notice You’
It’s hard to avoid myah at the moment as she begins her relentless release schedule that feels like we’re getting a single a week. In recent times she has dropped four singles with her 5th being ‘Notice You’, the track we are to talk about today. The L.A based artist has managed to capture nostalgic elements of midwestern emo and thrown that into a Taylor Swift infused pop potion. It is a wildly infectious, emotive, and digestible sound.
Her latest single ‘Notice You’ continues this impressive blend and solidifies itself as an incredibly well crafted pop song with alt elements. Kicking off with myah’s confident vocals that really adds gravitas to her songwriting. In fact, it’s myah‘s songwriting that makes her music so strong, it is wildly relatable yet personal. She tells the story of discovery and love, going through the emotions of a new love and the anxieties and intensities of the feeling. Yet, the single remains fun, playful and lighthearted in the same breath, it is very impressive.
