LA LUZ HAVE RETURNED WITH INFECTIOUS NEW SINGLE ‘ENDLESS AFTERNOON’.
Following up the success of their self-titled record, La Luz have returned with their latest single, ‘Endless Afternoon,’ a track inspired by the landscapes of Northern California, discovered as La Luz’s Shana Cleveland spent slow days hiking the terrain above the Yuba River.
The new offering features a trembling guitar lick with an unexpectedly elevating melody that moves along at a steady, lullaby tempo. Three-part harmonies create a wall of sound unreplicable by any other instrument. The swelling production and space, enough for the soft, floating vocal to glide overhead untouched.
The track is available as part of a physical 7” release on July 7th, via Hardly Art, alongside an unreleased song named ‘San Fernando Shadow Blues.’ The soon to be released b-side can also be heard digitally on June 14th.
