Masters of gloom The Murder Capital are gearing up for a busy few months. In the run-up to the August release of their debut album ‘When I Have Fears‘, the band are hitting the festival circuit this summer, playing stages at Latitude, Boomtown, and our beloved Boardmasters to list just a few of the stops on their whirlwind schedule.

If August seems too far away though, don’t panic. The Murder Capital have just released a single from ‘When I Have Fears’, so you can get yourself a slice of their moody melodies a whole month before the album drops. The sneak peek single ‘Don’t Cling To Life‘ is meant to make you dance not make you sad – or so this Dublin five-piece say. But we’ll take heavy hearts, heavy sounds and Ian Curtis poetics in one sweet, sweet bundle whether it makes us move or not.

Listen to ‘Don’t Cling To Life‘:

And after the festival dash and the album drop? This tireless bunch climb back aboard the tour bus in Autumn for another round of UK and European dates. Phew.
