Parcels announce new album ‘LOVED,’ drop new single ‘Yougotmefeeling’ and confirm Glastonbury and Wembley dates
Acclaimed Australian electro-pop five-piece Parcels have announced their highly anticipated third studio album, LOVED, set for release on September 12th via Because Music. The record follows their ambitious double LP Day/Night (2021) and their platinum-certified self-titled 2018 debut, which propelled them to international acclaim with their fusion of disco, pop, and vintage funk.
The latest single ‘Yougotmefeeling’ is out now, offering fans a fresh taste of the new material. It joins the previously released ‘Safeandsound’ and ‘Leaveyourlove’, both of which will feature on the 12-track album.
“It’s very internal for all of us — so personal and so deep, which is sometimes quite uncomfortable,” the band says. “But that’s what Parcels is right now: all of us on individual journeys, creating a shared world to funnel everybody’s experiences into a celebration.”
The album took shape after a six-month hiatus in early 2023 — the first proper pause since the band formed in 2014. Reuniting in studios across Berlin, Byron Bay, Sydney, Oaxaca, and Mexico City, they embraced a more individualistic songwriting process than in the past.
LOVED promises a signature blend of exuberant, euphoric grooves and moments of quiet reflection. Some of the new material has already been showcased live, including at this year’s Coachella Festival.
With over 1 billion streams, 600,000 albums sold, and two beloved live albums (Live Vol. 1 and Live Vol. 2), Parcels continue to captivate audiences worldwide. Their distinctive blend of tight musicianship and euphoric stage presence has made them a must-see act.
NME called their last London performance “a dextrous show of live prowess,” adding, “you simply have to see this band live.”
LOVED is now available for pre-order.
‘Yougotmefeeling’ is streaming everywhere.
