Norwegian four-piece Pom Poko announce their third album ‘Champion,’ out 16th August via Bella Union

The new album from Pom Poko, ‘Champion,‘ is out on 16th August via Bella Union. To coincide with this, the band have shared the album’s first single and LP title track of the same name.

“One of our collective favourite tracks from the album, so it was very fitting it became the title track.” comments the band,  “I feel we trusted our songwriting a lot more in this album process, and this song feels like a step towards letting the songwriting speak for itself…It’s also a homage to the community feeling you get as a band, we feel very safe when we’re all together in that tour van.”

The sense of family in the band comes through in this track, referring to Champion as both a home and a concept, it’s like climbing into bed after a long day.

The band are on the verge of their tour, heading to the UK with Bella Union friends Personal Trainer.
