Australian punk rockers The Chats return with riff fuelled homage to the great AC/DC in new single ‘AC/DC CD’. The new release is their first since the debut album ‘High Risk Behaviour’ earlier in the year.

The accompanying video parodies some of AC\DC’s most prolific clips: ‘Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock N Roll)’, ‘Let There Be Rock’ and of course ‘Thunderstruck’.

Speaking about the track frontman Eamon Sandwith explains:

โ€œWhen I was 10 years old my dad took me to the Sanity in Logan and I purchased my first CD with my own money, which was โ€˜Back in Blackโ€™ by AC/DC. I was utterly blown away at how hard this band could rock, and I played it in the car every day to and from primary school.

โ€œI still fucken love Acca Dacca so I wrote this song as a tribute to one of the worldโ€™s rocking-est bands.โ€
