Cornwall’s favourite rock and roll band The Velvet Hands are back with yet another absolute banger. Up to now, the band has supported major rock and rollers such as Liam Gallager and Paul Weller.

“Star’ was inspired by someone I met who went on celebs go dating with a genuine intention to find love, only to find herself aghast when the producers started asking her to cause drama. Love was not found but ‘Star’ was. It’s a big two fingers up at reality culture and the selling of ones dignity for fame.” – The Velvet hands

Featuring Jazz Urell on backing vocals, the new track ‘Star’ is a modern bit-pop soon to be fan favourite. Involving their usual heavy guitars and vocals the track definitely has that anthem sound that almost has you chanting from start to finish.

This track would be a must-have to see live for sure, luckily for us, they have announced their new tour! With six dates and six cities from the south to central Scotland, The Velvet Hands are definitely the band to see in 2021.
