Based in Bath and constantly travelling to Bristol, Amy Overd is a music journalist with an unfading love of that feeling you can only get at a good gig. Also sometimes found making indie/folk music, singing in a funk band and trying to finish her Masters.

Led by Paris-based songwriter Kate Stables, This Is The Kit return with ambitious and sweeping live album ‘Live at The Minack Theatre

Seen first by Record Store Day enthusiasts in its exclusive UK limited edition run, the album features favourites from their previous albums, such as the critically acclaimed ‘Careful of Your Keepers‘, ‘Off Off On‘ and ‘Moonshine Freeze‘, all released with distinguished indie heavyweights Rough Trade.ย

Kate Stables said of The Minack Theatre, โ€œItโ€™s an amazing open-air amphitheatre on the edge of a Cornish cliff face overlooking the seaโ€, the perfect setting to capture the full band and three-piece horn section.ย

Alongside the album itself, This Is The Kit have released a collection of live videos, showcasing tracks from the album with striking visual context; sky, sea and crowd frame the piece and you can almost taste the sea salt in the air.ย

Appearing at Glastonbury later this month alongside dates supporting The National, This Is The Kit have a busy summer ahead of what are sure to be unmissable shows.ย
