Ziggy Alberts has been winning over fans across the world since his impressive debut LP ‘Made Of Water‘. The Australian singer songwriter has even made his way to Cornwall in the past, as well as the big smoke, London.

It’s hard not to be captivated by Ziggy’s heartfelt songwriting and smooth vocals, it’s of a similar vein to artists such as Ben Howard and Jack Johnson. The pairing of his gentle vocals and beachy sounding acoustic guitar makes for great escapism, especially those in the stormier corners of the world.

Recently the Australian artist has released the latest single ‘Heartbeat’, taken from the forthcoming fifth LP ‘Searching For Freedom’. It continues his acoustic pop sound and as ever his vocals continue to dazzle. Soft plucks of the guitar lead the way, creating a path for his mellow vocals. It instantly wraps the listener in a warm aura, creating a real sense of comfort and relaxation. It’s an impressive thing to bring the listener to a sense of calm like this and it’s something that Ziggy continues to be a master of.

Speaking on the latest track Ziggy says: “Heartbeat is a song about how love brings us together no matter how far we are apart… a breakup song, turned into a story of hope and trust on a summer adventure.” He continues, “[The song] talks about the past and present, finding resolution in the common thread of all good things – love.”
