Chubby and the Gang who based in West London have just released details of their highly anticipated second album ‘The Mutt’s Nuts’. The album, which was produced by Jonah Falco of Fucked Up, is a masterpiece that covers issues from worker’s rights, inequality, police brutality, government failure, and gentrification. Coming from London, the band wanted to respond to issues that are built into the fabric of the UK and are especially relevant within the capital.

The 15 track album will be released on August 27th via Partisan, including already released ‘Coming Up Tough’, ‘Life’s Lemons’, and ‘Lightning Don’t Strike Twice’.

As for Chubby and the Gang’s latest release ‘Coming Up Tough’, leading band member Charlie Manning Walker explains the meaning behind the lyrics, ‘Coming Up Tough’ is about a family member of mine who ended up going to prison at a very young age for over 20 years. He went in as a kid and spent most of his life in the system.” Making this track a really personal acknowledgment to his relative.

The band have also confirmed a UK and IE tour for later on this year, including a performances in the South West such as venues in Exeter and Bristol.
