Manchester’s most promising indie band release another single off debut record ‘It Goes On’.

Westside Cowboy are just a mere two weeks off the official release of their first full length record, ‘It Goes On’. To bridge the gap of anticipation, before the record release and half a year of relentless touring, the band have parted ways with a single entitled ‘Dobro’.

With Jimmy Bradbury taking the lead vocals on this track, this slacker-rock-inspired tune is indicative of what Westside Cowboy prove themselves to be capable of time and time again. Bold, solid songwriting with a distinct emphasis on melody, moulding musical simplicity mixed with the indescribable magic of a well-oiled band that cannot be replicated. They are, for lack of a better term, the full package, and ‘Dobro’ is only further proof of this. It follows a classic structure of a Westside Cowboy track in its dynamics of a muted verse and a chorus crescendo that peaks in a flurry of madness at the end of the track, supplemented throughout by their signature country-twang and harmonising voices that make the song feel full and realised.

Put simply, it’s a belter.
