Complete your Green Man Festival itinerary with our ones to watch list for this years frolic in the Black Mountains
We are but mere days away from Green Man Festival 2026 and thus it is time to scour the bountiful line up in search for those expected must watch moments. This is arguably one of our hardest tasks due to the Green Man line up being nothing short of sensational (year in and year out). However, we have gone through the lineup and found some artists we think should be on your ones to watch list.
Wolf Alice

Your Sunday headliner.. Wolf Alice! The rock band from North London has been on a guitar driven rampage since the days of 2010, when the band formed. Since then the band has released three albums with each one generating critical acclaim, including recent release ‘The Clearing’. They’re an unstoppable force that with every release managed to put themselves into the zeitgeist arguably becoming one of the UK’s most important and impressive bands. To be able to see them at Green Man is going to be a spectacle like no other.

Shame

Another rock band that has stood the test of time, developed as they’ve gone on, and managed to keep their sound fresh with every release.. Shame. The band first burst onto the scene with 2018’s ‘Songs Of Praise’ which had hit song ‘One Rizla’. From this point the band could have easily fallen off into obscurity or got tangled in the second album curse. However, the band returned in 2021 with a darker, more biting sound with the release of ‘Drunk Tank Pink’. Proving to the world that they’re not another guitar band ready for the landfill. This is a constantly revolving and growing artist that with each release reinvents themselves yet stays true to their core pillars. Past two albums ‘Food For Worms‘ and ‘Cutthroat’ have brought the bands raucous live energy to the recording room, creating two bodies of work that represent the bands relentless live shows. Shame are a very London centric band and as someone that lives in the depths of Cornwall I am incredibly excited to catch them at Green Man 2026.

Getdown Services

By this point we’ve become a Getdown Services fan page and frankly there is not much more to say on them than you already know. They’re one of the greatest duo’s to ever exist, the greatest showmen to have launched in the 21st century, and generally lovely chaps. They’ve just released their second album ‘Massive Champion’, which is likely to hit the top 10 in the charts. They’re a band that played the Rising Stage two years ago and are now heading to Far Out tent. Stop reading this, stream (then buy) their music and most importantly get to the front for their set.. you will NOT be disappointed.

Westside Cowboy

Arguably one of the most exciting new bands in the last decade it’s Westside Cowboy. We first caught them at Green Man last year where they played to a heaving Rising Stage. It was clear then this band was building momentum but it was their tight live performance matched with smiling faces that made them so infectious. You can’t help but get wound up in their excellent stage presence and ‘Britanica’ folk lead sound. This year they head to the Mountain Stage (main stage) at Green Man, boasting their astronomical growth. The bands debut album drops August 21st so expect new music to be played.

Panic Shack

The Welsh punk outfit Panic Shack head to the rolling green hills of Bannau Brycheiniog to give us a good dose of the good stuff. The band had been building momentum up until their self titled debut album which released back in 2025. Since then the band have exploded on socials, particularly on TikTok and now have played across this fair land and lands further afield. It’s a fast paced, frantic, and lyrically relatable (and witty) sound that will likely get the crowds moving at Green Man 2026.

Opus Kink

The renegades return. A band that has consistently been on the forefront of a bombastic sound and chaotic live show… Opus Kink. They’ve spent a good few years running around London and Brighton bringing a musical reckoning to each stage they grace. All of this has culminated in the bands highly anticipated debut ‘The Sweet Goodbye’. Get ready to have your body shaken, your heart beaten, and mind blown by one of the UK’s most underrated live acts at this years Green Man.

Pigeon

The Margate band has ben causing a stir of late due to their infectious and genuinely unique sound that blends afro-disco with post punk that is driven by Guinean singer Falle Nioke. It’s sharp, driven, and expansive which makes them one of the most exciting new outfits to emerge in recent years. We’ve only just got our ears around this band with their hit single ‘Miami’, which was recently played on Jools Holland. We cannot wait to see what Pigeon have to offer at Green Man.
