Green Man 2025 has become notorious for its independent spirit and utterly bonkers line ups and 2025 is no different
Green Man returns in 2025 as does our yearly journey to the Welsh mountains. It’s a journey for us, that on paper seems arduous but it’s not, the reward awaiting us at the end is nothing short of sublime. This year’s Green Man is no different with a line up that on announcement made us weep. However, here are some artists that we are particularly excited to see.
Big Special

One of the UK’s most exciting artists around at the moment. We caught their emotive and visceral performance at last years Green Man, now they return and make their way to a bigger stage at The Walled Garden. The dup also return with a punchy new album under belt, as they surprise dropped ‘NATIONAL AVERAGE’ earlier in the year, a collection of striking music. Will be great to watch the duo get their flowers on the larger stage at the festival. This is one not to miss.
Kneecap

You’ve almost certainly heard of the Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap, but probably not for their music, more for their politics. Earlier in the year there was a near effective campaign led by insiders int he music industry, as well as in our political systems to crush Kneecap, but they pushed through, played Glastonbury and continue to cause right wingers to clutch their pearls. Sonically, they’re a high octane outfit that bring forward the agitation and angst of a generation, not to mention a while country. Seeing Kneecap live is going to be a real treat and a wild way to start your Green Man experience. So head to the Mountain Stage on Thursday.
Keo

The grunge outfit, although young are on a mission to conquer your ears with their throwback 90’s grunge sound that is reminiscent of Wunderhorse or Pearl Jam (depending on your age). We caught them at Boardmasters recently and they absolutely ripped the main stage apart. It will be exciting to see them play to a perhaps more eager crowd at Green Man.
Melin Melyn

Welsh rockers Melin Melyn will be bringing their brilliantly laid back sound to Green Man 2025, which will be very much a home show for the band. Expect a show that is narrative driven by a somewhat theatrical element, based around their latest album ‘Mill On The Hill’. Delightful jams mixed with Welsh lyrics will make for a sweet listen in the Black Mountains of what is, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful countries in the world (apart from Cornwall of course).
Daisy Rickman

Speaking of Cornwall, we are very excited to see one of our own make their way to the Welsh mountains. Daisy Rickman will bringing her soft, yet powerful folk sound to Green Man this year. An artist that is on a constant upwards trajectory and displaying some of the most fantastic musicianship we’ve been lucky enough to witness at home.
