Over the past few years there has been a resurgence in good, solid rock bands that are inspired by the golden ages of the sixties and seventies. They are looking retrospectively to the sounds of days gone and creating their own spin. It is absolutely fantastic to see and the music is full of tasty licks, powerful vocals and riffs that will blow your top off.

One said band is the Racoons Anonymous, a collective hailing from the United States of America. Their sound carries influences from artists such as Hendrix, Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Black Keys. It’s full of groove driven riffs and classic rock sensibility. Their latest single ‘Something Is Most Definitely Wrong’ draws clear infuence from the rock ‘n’ roll of a past era but involves a level of modernism in the production. It’s everything you want from a modern take on classic rock. Throughout there are elements of psychedelia, blues and a touch of funk. This track will have you lusting for the California warmth.
