The three piece indie band, Close Talker, from Canada are on the right path to explode in 2019. Their latest single ‘Half Past Nine’ sets the bar for their fourth studio album ‘How Do We Stay Here?’ coming September 2019. It’s honest lyrics and minimalist instrumentation creates a groove which keeps you wanting have this track on repeat. The song is about not letting go of the moment and treasuring memories you have with good friends.
The ambient guitars towards the end slightly opens the track up creating a chill vibe, not to mention the heavy reverb guitar which only amplifiers the aesthetic. If you’re a fan of the sounds of Bears Den and Billie Marten then you must give your ears the privilege of Close Talker.
The band have toured throughout North America and Europe, gaining the attention and praise of notable publications such as NPR, BillBoard and Q Magazine. They’re starting to get the critics attention, now it’s time to get yours!
