Fat Dog’s latest single ‘Pray To That’ is a party trapped in a bottle waiting to be unleashed on the festival circuit, including Boardmasters & Boomtown
“It’s fucking Fat Dog, baby!” frontman Joe Love bellows midway through the stormy new single from the South London eclectic rockers. It fucking is Fat Dog, baby – signature Fat Dog at that.
Already notorious for their brand of genre-bending, skull crushing, electro-rock, Fat Dog will pull you in, chew you up and spit you out on the absolute monster that is ‘Pray To That’.
Overwhelmingly high tempo from the get go, this could be the most perfectly translated song from the band’s infamous, rowdy live show to the studio. Unhinged, outrageous and just plain absurd – ‘Pray To That’ feels like a whole party trapped in a tiny bottle.
‘Pray To That’ possesses a certain raucousness that you’d come to expect from a Fat Dog tune, but it’s even more wild. This sort of pumping-post-punk-dance-floor-ready concoction is special, and the world is crying out for more. Or at least I am.
